Based on the symptoms of the gastrointestinal infection. It is necessary to drink lots of water and do not have solid foods until the vomiting subsides. In case the symptoms last longer than 24 hours, or if you get very dehydrated, please visit a gastroenterologist for further investigation and treatment.
