These are most likely to be either enlarged papillae or tonsilloliths. Enlarged papillae are a normal variant, whereas tonsilloliths are calcified deposits which can cause halitosis and discomfort. If you have any concerns or symptoms, it is advisable to visit an ENT specialist for an evaluation.
