Why is Rabies Jab Not Recommended for 16-Month-Olds?
My son is booked in for some immunisations, were going abroad to turkey and wanted him to have the rabies jab and hepatitis A. He’s 16 months old and the doctors will not give him the Rabies jab due to him being too young ?

I suggest that should not get the rabies vaccine till they are one year old, at least. But, in some cases, the vaccine can sometimes be injected into six-week-old infants. It is strongly recommended that you consult a pediatrician.
