Is a Sodium Level of 126 Alarming for a 61-Year-Old on Tuberculosis Medicine?
My mother, aged 61 is using tuberculosis medicine from last 9 days, yesterday a lab report determined sodium na level as 126, is it very alarming, few suggesting to admit in hospital, please help

Sodium level of 126 is known to be low and it may be a result of some antitubercular drugs. It is necessary to discuss the matter with the treating doctor, who can prescribe a different medication dosage or hospitalize your mother for a thorough examination.
