Is rabies vaccination needed for a cat scratch?
I got scratched under my right foot by a random cat on 12/02/24 at approximate 5:10PM at the Masjid while praying. I immediately washed the affected area with soap for about 5 minutes. The cat didn't seem rabid (No hypersalivation, itching, photophobia or visible scar or bite mark). I took an anti titenus serum afterwards as a precaution. Do I need to take Rabivax? If so, why, how, where and when?

It is advised that you should see a doctor who deals in infectious diseases and also get tested. The doctor will decide on the next steps depending on the scratch severity, the location, and the overall health state. A doctor may recommend a rabies vaccine based on the case.
