Can Azithromycin Cure Chlamydia?
Hi, I was prescribed azithromycin for an ear infection I had and took 500 MG on day one and then 250 MG per day for the next 4 days. If I were to also have chlamydia, would this dosage cure that as well?

Azithromycin belongs to the antibiotic category, is one of the drugs most frequently applied against various kinds of bacterial infections including chlamydia. But the amount and length of treatment may be different for each person and based on the severity of the illness and the individual factors.
