Can I eat food while on a liquid diet? If yes, what are some food options to help stop my cravings?
Hello doctor I’m Harsha , age 23 Due to obesity…4 days back (4-April-2024) I had my Bariyatric Surgery And since yesterday, I’m feeling very hungry Currently I’m on liquid diet… Can I eat food, if yes suggest me some food to stop my cravings

It is common to feel famished after the operation, particularly at the beginning when having to follow a liquid-only diet. Make sure you stick to the prescribed eating plan because it is imperative for complete healing and weight loss. I will also encourage you to speak to your bariatric surgeon or a registered dietician about guidelines on what foods will constitute your liquid diet, the aim is to help you manage and curb these cravings effectively.
