If your partner is negative for the HIV virus, then you have a low risk of acquiring them through sexual transmission. Nonetheless, if you are still worried then it is advisable to get yourself tested for confirmation. And you may visit a general physician or any other specialist in HIV/AIDS to be tested against the specific disease and, moreover, get proper advice.
