Could red, swollen finger be infected for months?
17 year old Trans man. I believe i have an infection on my finger for a few months. There is redness, swelling and some black and yellow bits.

It looks like you have a sore on your finger. A sore is red and puffy. It might have black or yellow stuff. This means germs got in a cut. To help, keep it clean and dry. You may need medicine if it does not get better. Do not pop it by yourself. Just cover it until you see a dermatologist.
