Answered on 18th May '24

I been having issues where im going to much to the bathroom a lot at night and cramping up a lot why am i have those issues
Answered on 7th May '24
It seems that you have the problem of unnecessarily frequent urination at night and the associated cramps. These conditions might be caused by an overactive bladder, which involves the muscle of the urinary bladder squeezing more frequently than normal. It may result from different things like taking too much fluids before sleep or certain ailments. To manage this, reduce your liquid intake before going to bed and consult a urologist for more check-ups.

I am suffering from swelling on anterior part of penis since 3 months . It's difficult to retract foreskin which is thin . There is also one round white area of discoloration on glans. Sometimes there pain is on right side of thigh. Kindly suggest the possible tests if required for getting the proper diagnosis.
Answered on 7th May '24
It may be phimosis if the foreskin is unable to retract over the head of the penis due to tightness, as per your symptoms. Swelling and discoloration could result from irritation and infection caused by the trapped foreskin. The thigh pain could also be linked to this issue or possibly a different problem altogether. An examination by a urologist is necessary. The tests that may be carried out include blood tests for infection, urine tests, and a physical examination of the affected area.

I'm a male 27 years old For more than a month and half i had unsafe sex without penetration and the next day i went to a dr. To prevent stds he gives me a dose of certifaxone and zithromax (azithromycin) A month later i felt uncomfortable because i stopped masturbating, I thought if i masturbated i will feel normal, i made a kind of force masturbating without full erection then my penis got swelling from below part, the day after this symptom left and i started to feel pain in the right testicles. I went to the urologist and i made urine analysis the pus rate was high from 10-15 and RBCs were 70-80 he gave me (qunistarmax - levloxacine) and cystinol, celebrex, Avodart, rowatinex and after 10 days after finishing i made another urine analysis and all rates were good but i still have mild pain in right testicle sometimes and in pubic area from the right side and having a symptom of dropping pee after finishing all pee then i made ultrasound on prostate and was 21gram and testicles with normal epididymis and recently then i reached another urologist and he give me what i am taking now Prostanorm and ciprofloxacin then vibramycin After having half of ciprofloxacin and prostanorm andi found a sign in my underwear like cum or pre cum with no excitement Do I have resistant std bacteria or prostate problem ?
Answered on 6th May '24
It appears you might have symptoms that are more consistent with a problem in your prostate than an unresponsive sexually transmitted bacteria. Symptoms such as pain in the testicle and pubic area together with difficulty passing urine may well point towards a prostatic origin. Ciprofloxacin and Prostanorm belong to the drugs given to you by your urologist. You need to take them for their full course as instructed since they are meant to address issues related to this gland.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are pretty normal for women your age. These can make peeing hurt, or make you go often with cloudy urine. UTIs alone usually won't cause protein in the urine. This past Saturday, I experienced a sharp pain in the testicle and perineal area. Since then, I've been feeling the urge to urinate every five minutes, but when I do go, it's typically around 20 minutes later. The pain from Saturday vanished immediately, though initially, I thought it was related to needing to have a bowel movement, which didn't happen. While I'm not in pain, I constantly feel the need to urinate. Additionally, I'm dealing with a hemorrhoid issue that requires immediate attention; there's minimal blood when I strain. I've tried to see a doctor for the past month, but I don't have insurance. Should I head to the hospital or wait until I can obtain insurance? Again, I'm not experiencing any pain, just frequent urination.

Hello I had tried to retract my foreskin and it was successful without any problem but then I was not able to get it back to it's normal position and I had to see the local surgeon after three days. They punctured the skin area where I got swelling and I am now ok but they also suggested for circumcision. Is it really necessary because I don't want to get circumcised I found out that it decreases the sexual pleasure(is it true? ). Is there any way that i am able to retract and put the foreskin back to it's normal position having any problems like paraphimosis again. I am 17 year old but I am worried about circumcision and I still want it not to happen. Please give me some other ways to counter both problems 1. Not getting circumcised 2. On Wednesday, I still felt a bit of discomfort when urinating but no urgency. However, today, Thursday, I feel no pain but now I have felt urgency all day. I have taken all 6 Pyridium pills and 5 Bactrim pills, so I shouldn't have symptoms by now but I still do and I am concerned.

Firstly, approximately 20 years ago, I experienced a significant shoulder impact while playing football, resulting in a sprain that extends from my neck to the back of my shoulder. Whenever I engage in physical activity, particularly on the injured right shoulder side, I feel a burning sensation accompanied by heat. Additionally, I've noticed that my right hip appears elevated since the injury. In a previous scan, I discovered a left-sided disc prolapse. Moreover, I occasionally experience sprains in the middle of my back. I have not been taking any medications for this issue as previous doctors have been unable to identify the problem. I am concerned about the long-term implications and would greatly appreciate your expertise in evaluating and providing guidance on the appropriate course of action. Are there any specific tests or examinations that you recommend to better understand the underlying causes and potential treatment options for my shoulder, hip, and back issues? Furthermore, I recently discovered that I have kidney stones in both of my kidneys. I do not have diabetes or high blood pressure, and I am not diagnosed with arthritis. Additionally, I have been informed that I have elevated uric acid levels. Considering these multiple health concerns, I am wondering if blood tests or any other diagnostic tests would be beneficial in identifying any potential connections between these issues and guiding the most appropriate treatment plan.
Answered on 27th Sept '23
To address your musculoskeletal concerns consult an orthopedic specialist. They would recommend imaging studies, physical therapy, and medications as needed. For your kidney stones and elevated uric acid, seek guidance from a urologist nearest to you or a nephrologist who can perform diagnostic tests. I suggest to follow certain dietary changes, and monitor your kidney health. Open communication with your specialists for a tailored treatment plan for your multiple health concerns.

I am an 18 year old male who is training to be a professional cyclist. I have had a varicocele in both testicles for a number of years now. I had it checked by doctors a few years ago, however it was during COVID so they didn't want to remove them and said there was no need. I was wondering if I should now look into getting them removed and if they could be having any impact on my athletic performance e.g limiting testosterone?
Answered on 18th Apr '23
Varicoceles are dilated veins and can be surgically corrected if necessary. As a professional athlete it may be beneficial to discuss with your urologist whether varicocele surgery is appropriate for you and if it could improve your athletic performance.

Answered on 15th May '22
>He needs elaborate history taking and examination with few investigations. Male UTI at this age is considered as complicated UTI, that means it has some underlying problem which needs to be taken care of . It could be because of enlarged prostate, urethral stricture or underactive bladder. Mostly at this age it is prostate enlargement. It can be treated medically or surgically depending on patient symptoms and investigations. For other causes like urethral stricture, it might need to be corrected surgically. Underactive bladder is managed differently. So, please see a urologist.
